Colonial village meat market has long been known for its quality meat and deli, reasonable prices, as well as its friendly and helpful staff.  Since 1972, Colonial Village has served the residents of West Chester from Parkway Shopping Center on High Street, right off of Route 202.  For a short while the store had changed its name to Harbor Meats, but soon returned to the Colonial Village name.  For the last 10 years owners Kevin Kelley and Rich Hill have been dedicated to selling the freshest and highest quality products available in the Philadelphia area.

      Colonial’s Meat Department only carries the freshest top quality chicken that is delivered 5 days a week which ensures that it will meet their high standards.  The beef is top of the line and is always good whether it is coming off the grill or out of the oven.  Hatfield pork is almost exclusively on the cutting tables.  Hatfield pork is a local favorite and they would stack it up against any other pork chop in the country.  Colonial’s buyers only purchase the best meats when the holidays come around and their Jaindl™ turkeys at Thanksgiving are always gobbled up.  Our Alderfer, Kunzler, Leidy, and Hatfield Hams are often found on the tables of customers during the holidays and Easter.  And yes, they still do the specialty cuts you do not often find in the supermarkets anymore, from crown roasts of pork and lamb, standing rib roasts, briskets, to tender and juicy filet mignons.  Their meat cutters are also busy preparing oven ready meats.  The stuffed chicken breasts are prepared with homemade stuffing or spinach and provolone.  They will even show you how to cook your selections so that they will come out tasty and delicious.

The deli department is also busy preparing for various customer requests.  As well as slicing lunchmeat, they like to cater to their customers who want something special.  Their fresh bread and rolls go great with their store cooked roast beef, pork and turkey.  The store made chicken salad is famous in the West Chester area.  Their homemade soups, made to order sandwiches, and hoagies are also a big hit.  The fully cooked Heat and Eat meals are also growing quite popular in this era of “No Time to Cook,” “We gotta Go,” “hurry Up,” lifestyles.  Their staff is also well prepared to cater any of their customer’s next parties, whether you just want to pick up a party tray or you need to have someone come to your house or hall and serve 20 to 200 guests.
